Poor service. I requested a round nail shape and natural pink (full set). The man attending me asked what color I wanted and I showed him the picture of natural pink nails, to which he said ok to (he left to the back and returned a 10-15mins later and began) after applying the acrylics he told me I had to choose a color and rudely rushed me not even a minute later to hurry and then proceeded to take away the nail palettes and said I was taking too long (?????) (there was no one waiting it seemed to be a slow day).He was a bit aggressive with his service, burned my nail 3x with the drill (to which I spoke out about and made him aware 2x and he just glared at me lol??), he rushed through the process, not properly shaping my nails, not taking care of the cuticles, and leaving the end result to be misshaped bubbly (thick) nails. Whilst I am very understanding that currently businesses are struggling being short staffed, timing, undergoing stress, masks, etc. it is not okay to treat your customers unkind, I tipped him anyway but I won’t be returning to this nail salon. Also a friend of mine had a similar experience about 2 months ago for a mani-pedi with the same guy to which she ended up just getting a manicure because of his rudeness. I just thought he was having a bad day that time.. apparently not.
I had an appointment, and still took forever ! The gentleman talked me into getting that power polish. I told him I had had a bad experience with them and he promised me I would not have the same experience. I was back in the next day with the top coat pealing and bubbling . They fixed it ! Great , but wait . The same thing happened again !!! The next morning I went back and they were closed. I had to go to work so I left a message along with my number. Never heard from them. ! I paid 110. And a 20. Tip because I also had a pedicure.
Sure glad they cared enough to call me back ! Lost my business. Word of mouth is the best advertisement !!
Excellent job. Very clean shop & very nice people. Would recommend to anyone needing nails done.
Very bad service. Was there for about 2 hours, she took forever to get to us. We got super simple acrylics, and short. Sign says $45 for acrylics. She charged $75 plus for each. Sat there on her phone a lot, then left to go pick up her son. Besides they look horrible, and crooked.
The wife and I really enjoy coming here. Mimi and all of her staff are just wonderful. We feel quite lucky to have them in our town. Great service, great prices... You're always going to get more than your money's worth.
Had an appointment at a different salon today ( nail tech failed to notify my that they were out with covid) so I called Mimi's explained my situation and she was able to get me in 30 minutes later! Definitely will be returning great service, relaxing atmosphere, the lady doing my nails did an amazing job and was gentle
I've had my nails done all over the country and Mimi's is definitely in my top 3. I have them do an acrylic overlay with manicure and pedicures. It is not uncommon for my nails to end up too thick with Acrylic. Mimi took one look at my nails the first time I walked in and told me "oh, honey- don't ever go back to the place that did THIS. ", then proceeded to five me the most realistic fake nail I've ever gotten. My most recent visit, it was fairly busy (especially for a Monday morning). Mimi, Jimmy, and their other staff worked efficiently get everyone taken care of, while chatting (IN ENGLISH) with their customers. Each regular that walked through the door had some sort of inside joke with Jimmy, which I found endearing. They also offer a punch card, which offers $5 after only 5 services.
I have been a customer three times. They are very professional, caring, and attentive. I will be a returning customer
