I took my three granddaughters to Magic Nails in Springfield. I asked for acrylic nails for the oldest granddaughter the other two youngest ones were supposed to get gel nail polish and I was told acrylics for $35 and the gel nail polishing only for the two youngest was $5 each totaling $45. When it was time to pay they charged me $80 so I was overcharged way too much they were not professional at all!! The lady that did our nails was very rude. When it was time to pay I was shocked with the price. I told the lady that she should have came to me and told me the price since it was a minor she was dealing with and she got rude about that. One of the youngest grandchildrens nail polish was coming off not even 3 hours after it was done. I called them and was trying to explain the situations with them and they hung up on me. I tried back several times today and they will not answer the phone or they keep hanging up on me. I do not recommend this place at all
Don’t waste your time or money here!! They were rough and rude! They burned my skin with the nail file. Then they sent me out the door with nail polish stuck everywhere! Even the back of my hand!
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! They are very overpriced! Not consistent, nails kept breaking off not even a day later (multiple occasions) very rude. Will find another shop!!!
First, stations were filthy. Dust from other polish removals was everywhere and someone's used fast food cup was next to my hand. Had to move it myself. Second, I arrived with long, healthy nails, but manicurist filed down the top surface of my nails, making them thinner. I was getting a dip, so I figured the product (which is normally thick and durable) would keep my nails strong. Wrong. Dip itself fractured on both thumbs the next day, the clear coat is peeling off on all, and now I've had to clip four nails down to the tip of my fingers. Product is sub-par, and staff need additional training. Will not return, and will not recommend.
